* My mom sometimes says "making" instead of "turning" and I think it's sweetly old-fashioned. She also pronounces the word "mature" /ma-TOUR/ which I think is just plain weird.

I turned the big 4-0 last September; so far, so good. Actually, I am loving being 40 for so many reasons, not the least of which is I feel like I've finally grown into myself.

I am 'making' 40 this year in autumn as well. (Love the 'making' alternative - it's kindda what we say in Romania for turning an age too). Man, you have it all a lil' to well laid out. I think I may need so early practice and come up to give you a very friendly helpful hand with the celebrations.

It's coming for me too. I'll be 40 on October 29th, and I just can't believe it. My mom always said that when I turn 40 I can have candy for breakfast. So, finally, there's that to look forward to!

I just turned 40... less than two weeks ago.
I vow to be on this site EVERY SINGLE DAY... to bound with my fellow friends with the birth year of 1969!
