WHAT WOULD THE UNICORN DO?
Yesterday I discovered that Technorati doesn't have my blog indexed properly. I'm all tagged up the way I want to be, but in the search indexes, I don't show up at all. Not even under an alphabetical listing of parenting blogs. And their code is all up in this mug.
I tried to go into the tag part of my profile to see what's up but I can't access it. (Can you yours?) It seems to be broken. I shot them a couple of emails to let them know what's what, got the auto-acknowledgment, and now... I wait. With low expectations since it's a free service and all.
I felt myself getting frustrated about this—a feeling I hate getting about stupid, inconsequential things I can't control—and I realized that I didn't have to carry the burden of my frustration with me.
I could simply Consult The Unicorn.*
Unicorns are amazing creatures and they always know what to do.
"O unicorn, magical unicorn. I am feeling such anger and annoyance with Technorati. If you were in this situation, what would you do?"
.
.
.
Look out, Technorati.
[Do you have any important questions for the unicorn? If so, let me know and he shall be consulted.]
*Thank you, Bad Kitty.

Love it!

Oh, me me me me!! I would like to know whether the mystery of Lost can be explained away by a reasonable scientific experiment from the Dharma initiative involving darwinist theory and medical science, or whether there's a bogus supernatural element involved a la The Stand.
I eagerly await the wisdom of the unicorn.

Mom101—the unicorn says, "Whinny and rear." I take that to mean that Lost is gonna end up being stoopid.

O Unicorn, what should I do when my son has a stomach virus for the third time since January?? (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for "leap across a ravine;" anything to avoid getting out the steam cleaner AGAIN.)

GinnyF—"Chase a rainbow." Looks like the steam cleaner will be making a appearance after all.
