Whooooo are you? Who? Who? Who? Who?

The Great Mofo Delurk 2007

Today is the Great Mofo Delurk brought to you by Schmutzie's Milk Money, Sweetney, and Jen B. (I don't know if I've ever met Schmutz, but Sweet-nasty shares my love of all things pop and makes "digital mixed tapes" full of artists with weird names that I've never heard of, and Jen B. and I share taxis and a love of the cute, little mozzarella ball.)

You can click the pink button above to read about why this day was created—in a nutshell: a response to a general decline in comments on blogs—but I have my own theory about where the commenters went.

Whatever the reasons may be, one thing is for sure, I want to know you. If you read blogs, introduce yourself today...to me and everyone you visit! I'd love to know who you mofos are. And I, being one of the worst lurkers ever, promise to do the same. (Leave your blog link in the comments and I will hop on over and visit you!)

My comments for you are still in my head. I blame a faulty brain to finger connection.

:)

Constant reader, sometimes commenter! I love your blog and try to keep up with it as much as possible. I also have two girls the same ages as yours with the same dispositions so I am hooked! I also read so the fish said, amalah, julia, and untangling knots. :)

Okay... constant lurker here. I turned 30 yesterday and started a blog about a month ago. I have a 2 year old boy. I love your writing and your girls are adorable. I also just made your Tomato sauce with butter a few days ago and have officially decided it was the best red sauce I have ever had... So thanks for that!

You know me already. But hi. :-)

I am a lurker. Hate the word, though. It's just a little bit ... creepy. Oh well. Your posts are always insightful and entertaining. P.S. I recently joined the BlogHer Ad Network and it's been great.

I have just started reading on your blog, and so far am really enjoying it :) So I'm de-lurking, and saying hi!

career lurker here. i blame it on google reader -- it's increased my blog-reading efficiency, as well as the number of blogs i read regularly, but it decreases the length of time i spend poking around any one particular blog, including in the "comments" box. whew, now i'm exhausted and i need to go back to lurking...

I'm a long time reader of your blog and of Kimchi Mamas. I'm about to give have my first baby in about a month. He'll be 1/4 Korean like your kids and I'm looking forward to seeing if he turns out to be a cutie like yours did.

I've been reading for well over a year and commenting occasionally (usually on your food blog), but Hi! I have a 7yo son and need all the distractions from work I can get.

I've only commented once. Or twice. I'm Jenna. Hello.

I'm Kristen - silent reader :)

hi! i don't comment much anymore (i blame bloglines...) but i love reading about how you are doing!

Delurking! Love you!

I'm a bad, bad, commenter. But I love the fact that every once in a while you reply to my little comments. So I wanted to say thanks.

Still reading, rarely comment, still lovin' your blog!

happy day!

Delurking, but I think this maybe the only place I've ever successfully commented.

I comment occasionally, but not that often on this particular blog. There are others where I comment more...maybe more of a connection on those? Dunno. Anyway, I like your blog and read it regularly.

Love your blog, but I am a bit of a lurker! ;) Will try to do better, promise!

Hi! No lurking here.

Been reading since you lived in Portland, I moved in right before you moved out...I wanted your house so bad!!

Recently my old blog was *gulp* lost by BlogsAbout and I have started anew....still working on domain changes though...

Lurker, I comment sometimes...usually I lurk.

Hi! I'm a frequent reader, infrequent commenter. I subscribe to the school of thought that if you don't have anything earth shatteringly interesting to say, don't comment to just make small talk. If most bloggers welcome any old comment, I'm cool to chime in with a "you go girl" on a regular basis. I'm a San Diego mama.

Another lurker/occasional commenter. You (and Kimchi Mamas) were one of the first blogs I came across, and I've been hooked since!

Total lurker, I admit it! Love the blog, love the mom-o-crats, love how you took the PR industry to task. I'm still getting used to this whole blogosphere thing - I can barely keep up with penning my own posts, not to mention commenting. I'll work on it! Keep up the great writing.
