I've been tagged by Glennia to share 7 songs I'm into right now. Here they are:
1. "The Mating Game" by Bitter:Sweet. I am currently obsessed with this band and the singer's voice.
2. "Umbrella" by Mandy Moore. I like the Rhianna version, too, but this is just...different. It has a 70's Melissa Manchester/Ann Murray vibe that I'm diggin'.
3. "Fergalicious" by Fergie. I'm kinda late to the Fergie game, but this joint is ridonckadonck. I used to wop to Supasonic back in the day and I dance around the house to this song with ma grrrlz. This takes me back.
4."Separate Ways" by Journey. We just got around to watching the end of the Sopranos so I am revisiting the band that dominated my junior high world. Growing up in the SF Bay Area it was easy to love Journey. For me it was all about Neal Schon and the "Infinity" and "Escape" albums. Hawt.
5. "The Way I Are" by Timbaland. Right now this is on heavy rotation on my iPod. I cannot get enough. Sick.
6. "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie. Normally, I'm strictly (and proudly) a pop/hip-hop girl and don't get into emo bands, but every time this song comes onto the radio I make my kids shut up so I can listen.
7. Sing along to number 7, why don't you? Your day will be better if you do, I promise. (Bad Kitty and I are going to see him in February! GodIlovethisman! ...What?) Big finish everyone!!!
