Alright, let's DO THIS!
Why do I want him to do well today? The world is making me believe in him. He has inspired people beyond our shores and that counts a lot for me.
Go vote!

I have been following your thoughts on all of this for months. I am thrilled to hear you are going to support Obama. I know you wanted Edwards, and I too thought he would have been a wonderful choice. Perhaps Obama will choose him as a running mate. Wouldn't that be a dream team!? Thank you for your vote. YES WE CAN!

FYI, if you're a decline to state voter, you have to ask for a Democratic ballot in order vote in the Democratic primary today. Seems that there's some confusion about this at the polls. In my county (LA) DTS voters also have to fill in the bubble that says you're voting in the Democratic primary in addition to voting for your choice for the presidential nominee.
Yay! Now we've got Citymama on our side! =P

OK. I'm a total twit about Twitter. I can't seem to "find and follow" Momocrats. When I try to it asks me to email out invitations. What am I doing wrong?

Cool! I'm going that way, too, after finally (finally!) reading many of his and Clinton's position papers and watching that last debate--er--discussion on CNN. (And wishing I could bi%ch-slap Wolf Blitzer, who seemed intent on channeling Jerry Springer.)

Beckett came with me to vote and said the if I did not vote for Obama that he would punch himself-- so of course I had to vote for Obama!

I am also a former Edwards supporter turned Obama supporter - He really gets me excited about where we could go - Go Obama!!!

Also wanted to mention that I lived in Holland for 5 years, including when Bush was re-elected. I can not even tell you how many people asked me in confusion how we could vote for such an idiot! I did not know what to say, I hope Obama will be elected and I can go back to those same people and say - see, we do not all like idiots like Bush... We need someone who can turn around foreign opinion more now than ever!

yep, did so, after Edwards dropped out (right when I was going to cast my ballot) it was pretty easy after that to decide who to vote for. Crossing my fingers now.

If nothing else comes out of the Obama candidacy, the fire he has lit to get people to the polls and interested in the political process is a beautiful thing!

CityMama, I'm also glad to see you are supporting Obama. I think he is the only one who can overcome the partisan divisions of the last 16 years. This is why I think it is so critical he beats Hillary in the primary. I'm actually thinking of making a donation, and I've never donated to a politician in my life. Let's hope he wins, for America's sake....
