We went on an 8 mile bike trip around the island today and after returning the bikes to the rental shop, I turned a corner and was greeted by this "Grand" lady. Hello, gorgeous.
This is the incredible view from my hotel room. Just this swath of green is about 4 football fields put together. It's such a massive lawn that my widest lens setting couldn't fit it all in. Flanking the fountain are massive beds of wildflowers.
This is the view from Bad Kitty's deck. Those stately Victorian mansions with the perfectly manicured lawns are referred to as "cottages" by the locals.
No cars are allowed on the island so you can either hoof it, or really hoof it.
