Thirty-nine. I'm right behind you ladies! You give me hope! xoxo

I will hit the big 4-0 in November. Woo hoo!

I'm about 6 months into the 40 pool, the water is just fine. Love the site!

I've been 40 for 9 months. What do I win? I don't have to go to a Stevie Nicks concert, do I?

I turned the big 4-0 last September; so far, so good. Actually, I am loving being 40 for so many reasons, not the least of which is I feel like I've finally grown into myself.

This is an awesome blog. I look forward to reading about your escapades.

I have a dude-friend born in 69. Are you looking for dudes? :P

I am 'making' 40 this year in autumn as well. (Love the 'making' alternative - it's kindda what we say in Romania for turning an age too). Man, you have it all a lil' to well laid out. I think I may need so early practice and come up to give you a very friendly helpful hand with the celebrations.

Ce-le-bra-te good times... C'Mon!! It's a Celebration... [Wham called - they were not happy]

It's coming for me too. I'll be 40 on October 29th, and I just can't believe it. My mom always said that when I turn 40 I can have candy for breakfast. So, finally, there's that to look forward to!

I just turned 40... less than two weeks ago.
I vow to be on this site EVERY SINGLE DAY... to bound with my fellow friends with the birth year of 1969!

Turning 40 this month. I don't really know what to make of it, but I do think this is now my favourite blog!

I'll be 40 on Easter Sunday!!!

Things to Do When We're 40 (The Not Bucket List)

  • A barbecue tour of the South
We'll start in the Carolinas and end in Texas and sample the best barbecue America has to offer. Why? Because we like meat.
  • Hotel Living
We like: mini bars, movies, and lounging around in our pajamas with our laptops right where they are supposed to be. We'll bring running shoes to pretend like we're going to work out, but really, who are we kidding. You see where this is going?
  • Knock some sense into dumb people
We'd love to be the camp counselors on a show like the Real World or Rock of Love.
  • Eating Dinner in a Vineyard While the Sun Sets
You know those scenes of a dining table set in a Tuscan or Sonoma vineyard dressed with beautiful linens and people sitting around it drinking wine and eating and laughing while the sun goes down? We want to be those people.
  • Yoga Retreat in New Mexico
Some of our fondest memories are of spending time doing yoga together. Do other wannabe yoginis spend the entire class laughing together? We do.
